Swim Switzerland

SwimSwitzerland is a new, family-run business, arranging Swimming Holidays and Short Breaks to lakes in Switzerland, around the Les Diaberets region (near Geneva).

If you ever dreamed of swimming in some of the most beautiful places on earth, then this is for you. The swim locations chosen include unspoilt lakes surrounded by mountains, all within driving distance of the village of Les Diablerets in the Swiss Alps.

Lac Arnensee

Hidden 5km up a winding road from Gsteig (near Gstaad) is the beautiful lake of Arnensee. The lake is 1.5km from one end to the other, or for those not swimming it's about 40 minutes to walk all the way round. There is a lovely restaurant situated at one end of the lake.

Lac de l'Hongrin

Lake Hongrin is a large reservoir created by the spectacular Hongrin Damn. It is accessed via a mountain road from La LĂ©cherette. The whole area is completely unspoilt.

Lac de Tanay

From the small mountain village of le Flon, Lac de Tanay can only be reached by walking, shuttle bus or pre-booked taxi, as access for private vehicles is restricted. When you reach the top, you will find what looks like a stunning village at one end of the lake, with 3 restaurants, and some small places to stay.
